Crockett's Fall

Printmaking. Animation. Film.

Written, illustrated and published 'Crockett's Fall'. A short story illustrated by monoprinting and collaging; the book tells the tale of the turbulent and surreal relationship between Crockett and Poppy.

All work is my own unless otherwise stated.

Spent the day making business cards.

Each leaf is an original monoprint.

Got some strange  looks picking hundreds of leaves from a very boring bush on the side of the road!

Let me know what you think of these?

More of the soundtrack for ‘Crockett’s Fall’ was recorded yesterday with my talented musician/composer friend Kathleen Rutherford.

It’s all coming together…

It really is all coming together…

Printed off my digital images the will form part of my degree show. Back them on aluminium and will mount them using a split baton.

So so exciting!

The Animation must go on….
Developing more stills for the final reel.

Spent the day creating a mannequin replica of my body to use as Crockett during degree show.

Covered my body in 200 metres (!!!!) of gaffer tape and then cut myself out of it and stuffed it.

An unusual day, but a great one. Crockett is now sitting in the corner of my living room, waiting for the big day.

Built this stool/table to display my book on. The appearance of it had to be slightly rickety/awkward to tie in with the atmosphere of the narrative. It generated a few laughs from my colleagues but it’s standing on its own four legs now!
